2. Sneaky Identity Theft: The gang got hold of personal details and account info from unsuspecting customers. 🕵️ Using this data, they opened fresh phone and insurance accounts.
3. The Insurance Game: With these new accounts, they'd file counterfeit insurance and warranty claims. 📝 They made sure these new phones were mailed to their controlled addresses.

Now, here's a twist - the target insurance companies were ones that sold protection programs for cell phone providers, including businesses in places like Tennessee, Texas, Kentucky, and Pennsylvania. 🏢 So, when someone's phone went missing or broke, these insurance programs would come to the rescue, shipping them a replacement device. 📦📲 But thanks to our fraudsters, the replacement phones often ended up in the wrong hands! 😲

For his part in the drama, Bhavsar's agreed to a whopping judgement of $10.67 million. 🤑 Plus, he's set to face the music in court on Jan. 3, 2024. 🗓️🔨

As for the potential penalties? The mail fraud conspiracy can slap him with up to 20 years behind bars 🚔 and a fine of $250,000 or twice the gain/loss from the scam. The interstate stolen goods conspiracy can mean another 5 years and a similar financial penalty. 💰💰
